Committed to industry advocacy, TrueAbility remains involved with the Association of Testing Professionals (ATP) annual North American Innovations in Testing Conference as sponsors, presenters, and volunteers. Selected to present a product demo, co-founder and CTO Marcus Robertson along with marketing director Wendy B. Gratereaux explained the flexibility of blending test item types as a feature of the TrueAbility platform in a session titled Blending MCQ & Performance Based Scenarios in ONE Environment to the conference attendees.

Account executive Miguel Serna was part of the ATP conference welcome crew of volunteers that ensured all attendees were efficient in getting from one session to another. Wendy also was selected to be a part of the highly anticipated “Innovations Hackathon” business plan competition.

For the second year, TrueAbility was a proud sponsor of the Innovation Lab to support entrepreneurs in their pursuit to improve the testing and assessment industry. Participants engage in a Shark Tank style presentation to compete for awards by sharing their business ideas to a panel of judges.  From this, the entrepreneurs take feedback and implement invaluable insights back into their products. Creativity, grit, and determination are the traits that create change for the better, and we will continue to support those that take on the challenges.

For those unaware, ATP holds an annual conference for networking and the education of assessment professionals from all over the world. ATP is considered one of the most significant global testing professional associations and has the advantage in bringing together the latest innovations that impact assessment. This year the global conference was in San Antonio, Texas and held at the JW Marriot Hill Country Resort & Spa, February 18th – 21st, 2018.
